Some weeks back I attended BarCampCopenhagen, this was my first BarCamp. I have been thinking a lot about how to blog about this, without being a total asshole. The event was a Saturday and the first snow had just arrived. ...

Location
The cult musician Ras Bolding closed BarCamp Copenhagen 8.2 with a great set showcasing his skillful synth mastery. His collection of toys included the "holy nerd device": the Commodore 64, ornli' syg dims dér.
In true conference spirit, Ras Bolding did a Q&A session after the gig.
Thanks for keeping it real for the fans!

Pre-Camp Warm-Up hosted by Kim Bach and Mark Wubben
Location
The Pre-Camp Warm-Up (hmm it was freezing in Copenhagen on the 22nd of November 2008) was a game that sent the participants on a hunt in the vicinity of the venue.
The participants were enrolled as field-agents in the fictive BarCamp Intelligence Agency (BCCIA).
It was a game of deception and misinformation, that I maybe made a little too difficult, I hope that the debriefing was useful, and we did have a winning team, that could add a Nabaztag/tag to their home courtesy of Nabz.dk (note that Nabz.dk is a joint venture between the organiser of the game, Kim Bach and Henrik Hammer Berthelsen).
Karin Høgh produced a nice video that shows how the game unfolded, it's embedded below, enjoy!

For those of you not familiar with the concept, BarCamp Copenhagen is part of the world-wide phenomenon BarCamp, and can best be described as a conference with a twist, a so-called un-conference. I'll try to illustrate the differences ...

Tak for en spændende barcamp
We have received this feedback from Henrik Gudbrand (in Danish, so you'll have to learn that :-))

Hej,
